Serbia is where my art story started. Growing up there, I was always surrounded by beautiful culture and traditions, and art felt natural to me from when I was very young.
I began by working on old furniture, painting them with chalk and acrylic paints. But slowly, I realized I wanted to do something different—I wanted to create textures that people could almost feel just by looking at them. This became my real love, making art that tells stories through touch and layers.
Now living in Fort Lee, I find myself constantly inspired by the energy and creativity of nearby New York City. The contrast between my quiet studio space and the vibrant city life gives me so many ideas for my work. This inspiration helped me develop my textured paintings like "Caribbean Serenity" and my "Arches" pieces.
I love making art that makes people want to reach out and touch it. Every piece I create has its own story, and I hope when people see my work, they can feel something special. From my studio in Fort Lee, with New York's skyline inspiring me just across the river, I keep experimenting and learning, always looking for new ways to bring my ideas to life.
